The standard range of stair treads in forge-welded grating is offered in three types of mesh. The square 34x38 for industrial applications, the classic 25x76 and the heel-proof 15x76 which is particularly ideal for emergency stairs. The stair treads can be made to the customer’s own specifications.

The classic safe stair tread has a punched sheet metal leading edge at its front which prevents slipping, strengthens the step and acts as a visual reference point when using the stairs.

SAFE STAIR TREAD WITH TOEPLATE

When needing to further increase the safety of the stairs it is advisable to apply a toeplate at the rear of the tread, which prevents the foot from going beyond the limit of the tread and being accidentally caught between two steps.
