Doormats longer than 3 metres and/or weighing over 60 kg should be split into more than one piece, otherwise they become difficult to handle and too heavy both for fitting and for cleaning.
To join the pieces there are aluminium couplings which can be fitted either horizontally or vertically.
The optical effect is perfect since the joints cannot be seen.
