WATER/AIRTIGHT MANHOLES H 90 mm

Key, the only water/airtight manhole covers, is one of the most sophisticated and technologically advanced in the Gridiron range.
Very thick, hot-dip galvanised, these are the ideal solution for resolving problems of smells and infiltration of water.
The special manhole cover Key consists of a frame in press-moulded sheet metal designed to hold the special O-RING seal, together with an internal sump with tabs for attaching in the corners to ensure a firm bond and perfect fit between cover and frame.
This particular method of bolting squeezes the seal to make it perfectly air and watertight.
A kit is also provided with two handles of different lengths to help with lifting when installing the manhole on site; the longer handle is also used for releasing the manhole for inspection purposes.
The bolts are fully tightened by an Allen key.
